Job Title: Field Service Engineer



The Role – Full Time Permanent

The key purpose of this role is to deliver WOW customer service through the efficient and effective installation and maintenance of our product portfolio. The level of service provided must always be of the highest quality and delivered with the highest degree of integrity.

The individual will undertake installation, servicing and breakdown calls for our residential and commercial range of boiling water taps and boiling and chilled commercial systems. The individual will also be required to train customers on system usage, complete filter changes, sanitisation of chilled water systems.

Responsibilites
The delivery of exceptional customer service though the installation, repair and maintenance of equipment. Carry out a broad range of equipment repairs and preventative maintenance tasks from fault finding to diagnosis, making sure all equipment is left in a good working order, with customers briefed on the issue. Keep in good working order all tools, equipment and vehicles supplied by the company, reporting any faults, breakages or equipment failures to your line manager daily / as required. Comply with all on-site arrival procedures, by making contact with a client or site manager prior to attendance. To complete installations as required, ensuring customers are briefed on system use prior to leaving customer site. Complete all necessary on-line job sheets, time sheets and supporting documentation as required, ensuring it is reviewed and completed prior to leaving premises, to validate client satisfaction.  The candidate will also be responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate van stock levels to be able to cover a broad range of breakdown and installation opportunities.

  • Full UK driving license.

Technical Skills

  • Good basic water and waste plumbing skills.
  • Knowledge and skills for cutting, drilling holes and adjusting worktops

Preferred: CSCS Card holder but not essential.

Working hours

You are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week on Monday to Friday. Travelling and overnight stays will be a part of this role and additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the business and the customers.

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary of up to £35k Depending on experience
Probation period: 6 months
Home location : Ideally looking for somebody based Northern midlands, Sheffield, Manchester area.
