Warranty

HotSpot Titanium products are manufactured with great care, which is why we guarantee free repair of all material or structural defects within its warranty period.

Warranty period:

• 2-year* parts and labour warranty on the water heater & tap without registration
• 5-year** parts and labour warranty on the products after registering the product on the website Register directly
• 20-years** leakage warranty for the registered owner oncorrosion of the titanium tank.
  
  * Starting from the date on the invoice and the boiling water filter requires replacement annually
  ** Starting from the date on the invoice and the boiling water filter requires replacement annually. Product registration must be made within 3 months after purchase date. The invoice including Hotspot Titanium products and purchase date must be submitted.

What is covered under warranty?

The warranty only applies if:

• there are material and structural defects (to be assessed by the manufacturer)
• the system has been installed, used and maintained in accordance with the supplied installation instructions and operating guides
• the system has not undergone any structural changes or adjustments
• the defect is not the result of:

- boiling dry;
- inadequate filtration of too hard or too aggressive drinking water;
- aggressive liquids or substances, vapours or gasses;
- internal or external corrosion or calcification;
- the owner's own fault, neglect or improper use.

Warranty exclusion:

• External labour costs
• External call-out charges
• External shipping costs
• External administration costs
• External transport damage
• Secondary damage, such as fire damage, loss of profit, water damage or physical injury
• Limescale build up due to the filter not being replaced per the below capacity table or annually whichever comes first.       

Information on your water hardness can be found on your local water suppliers website. Many have a postcode checker that will allow for a more accurate Calcium content figure. (Hotspot Titanium can be purchased annually via our online webshop directly where a record of previous purchases is kept).
